This 10-day tour extends the classic Golden Triangle to include two of India’s most extraordinary destinations: the UNESCO World Heritage temple complex at Khajuraho and the sacred city of Varanasi on the banks of the Ganges.

Itinerary
- 1Day 1
Delhi, Arrival
Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of the Republic of India. You will be met and assisted at the airport, by a representative, and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
- 2Day 2
Delhi, City Tour
This morning after breakfast, proceed on a half day combined city tour of old and new Delhi. Old Delhi has been continuously inhabited from the 6th century BC and was the capital of many kings and emperors. Visit Jama Masjid (17th century Mosque), enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk (Delhi's oldest market), drive past Red Fort, President House, India Gate and several other government buildings in Edwin Lutyens' modern Delhi, before you head to Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma Gandhi). Later, visit the Moghul Emperor, Humayun's Tomb. Also visit the Qutab Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world. Overnight in Delhi.

Delhi, Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (252 kms or 6 hours' drive approx.). Arrive in Jaipur, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Jaipur.

Jaipur, Full Day Sightseeing
Today, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Visit the historic 16th century Amber Fort. The best way to access the fort is to ride up to it on Elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the 'Palace of the Winds.' Afterwards, visit the City Palace; Albert Hall and the Jantar Mantar, the 18th century Observatory. Overnight in Jaipur.

Jaipur, Agra (via Fatehpur Sikri)
Drive to Agra (232 kms or 5 hours and 30 minutes drive approx.). En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri; the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, for 14 years (1571–1585). Overnight in Agra.
- 6Day 6
Agra, City Tour
This morning after breakfast, proceed for city tour of Agra, visit the Agra Fort, which was commissioned in 1565 by the Emperor Akbar, and subsequently embellished by other Mughal Emperors. Later, visit the timeless Taj Mahal, a mausoleum, built by the Emperor Shah Jahan as a symbol of love and devotion to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Afterwards, visit Itmad-Ud-Daula, known locally as the 'Baby Taj'; this mausoleum rests in a walled garden close to the Yamuna River. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Agra.

Agra, Khajuraho (via Orchha)
Early morning, board a train to Jhansi. On arrival, drive to Khajuraho (220 kms or 5 hours' drive approx.). En route visit the Orchha Fort complex. Arrive at Khajuraho and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Khajuraho.

Khajuraho, Varanasi
Today, proceed for a half-day tour of Khajuraho. Visit the Western Group of Temples, the Kandariya Mahadeva and temple of Devi Jagdamba. Later, visit the Eastern Group of Temples, the temple of Parsvanath. Then proceed to the airport to connect the flight to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi, and later in the evening, witness the Aarti ceremony at the Ghats. Overnight in Varanasi.

Varanasi
Early morning, enjoy an interesting boat ride on the Ganges River. Visit the Benares Hindu University, Bharat Mata Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Temple (from the outside only, as foreigners are not allowed inside the premises). Later, proceed to Sarnath, located 8 kms from Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.

Varanasi, Onwards
On time transfer to Varanasi Airport to connect flights to Delhi or Mumbai as per your itinerary. Upon arrival in Delhi or Mumbai airport, transfer to international terminal to board your onward flight.
