Who we are

This website is operated by Coromandel Tours, the leisure travel arm of Coromandel SAS, registered in Bogotá, Colombia. For any privacy enquiry you can reach us at mcd@coromandeltours.com.

What data we collect

We collect data in two situations: when you browse the site, and when you submit our enquiry form.

When you browse

We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use this site, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and where they arrive from. No personally identifiable information is collected through general browsing.

Ahrefs Web Analytics loads on every page visit. It is cookie-free and does not collect any personally identifiable information; it simply counts page views and referral sources using your IP address in anonymised aggregate form.

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, it is only activated after you accept our cookie notice, and if you decline, no Google Analytics data is collected during your visit. If you are visiting from anywhere else, it is active by default, and you can opt out at any time as described under Cookies below.

When you submit the enquiry form

Our contact form collects the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, party size, destinations and tours of interest, indicative travel dates, and any free-text message you write. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to help plan a tour for you.

The form is submitted through Web3Forms, which forwards the contents to our team by email. We use hCaptcha on the form to prevent automated spam submissions; hCaptcha may collect limited technical signals from your browser to verify that the submission is human.

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your trip and any related follow-up. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Cookies

Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use cookies or any form of persistent tracking.

This site also uses cookies placed by Google Analytics. These cookies collect anonymous usage data. We use Google's Consent Mode, which applies different defaults by region. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only activated after you accept our cookie notice, and if you decline, no Google Analytics data is collected during your visit. For visitors elsewhere, analytics cookies are active by default and no cookie notice is shown.

Where you have made a choice, we store a single preference in your browser's local storage (ct_consent) to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics tracking. A recorded decision to decline is respected in every region.

hCaptcha and Web3Forms may set their own cookies or use similar technologies when you interact with the enquiry form, strictly for the purpose of delivering and securing that form.

Third parties

We share data with the following service providers, each of which acts as a data processor on our behalf:

• Ahrefs Inc. (Ahrefs Web Analytics) for cookie-free, anonymous site usage statistics.
• Google LLC (Google Analytics) for anonymous site usage statistics, subject to the regional consent rules described above.
• Web3Forms for delivering enquiry form submissions to us by email.
• hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.) for protecting the enquiry form from spam and abuse.
• Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and basic security and performance.

Where we go on to plan a trip for you, we may share relevant details (such as your name, dates, and itinerary requirements) with our trusted local operators, hotels, transport providers, and guides in the destination, strictly for the purpose of arranging your travel. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

International transfers

Because Coromandel Tours operates across multiple countries, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than the one in which it was collected, including Colombia, the United States, and the countries you have asked us to plan travel in. We rely on the safeguards offered by our service providers and on contractual protections with our local partners.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To make a request, contact us at mcd@coromandeltours.com.

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings, or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, clearing your browser's local storage and cookies for this site will also make the cookie notice reappear on your next visit so that you can change your choice.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning leisure travel. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our enquiry form, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
