This 8-day tour pairs the Mughal heritage of Delhi with the natural splendour of Kashmir, one of the most dramatically beautiful regions in the Indian subcontinent.

The tour opens in Delhi, exploring Old Delhi’s mosques and bazaars and the monuments of Lutyens’ New Delhi, before a visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.

In Srinagar, the stay is on a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake, a way of experiencing Kashmir that has remained largely unchanged for a century. The Mughal Gardens of Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, laid out in terraces above the lake shore, were planted by the emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan as summer retreats from the plains.

Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, sits at 2,650 metres in the Pir Panjal range. The Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, ascends to Kongdoori Station and, when operational, continues to Apharwat Peak at 4,200 metres.

The tour closes with a return to Delhi and a visit to the Qutub Minar complex, a 12th-century minaret and the oldest surviving example of Afghan architecture in India.

    Delhi, Arrival and City Tour

    Arrive in Delhi and discover the city's highlights. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride in Old Delhi. Explore New Delhi's landmarks, including India Gate and Humayun's Tomb. Experience Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple, including a community kitchen visit and Chapati-making. Overnight in Delhi.

    Day 3

    Delhi, Srinagar

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to a houseboat on Dal Lake. Explore Srinagar's serene Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, and charming bazaars. In the afternoon, visit Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, and enjoy a tranquil evening boat ride on Dal Lake. Overnight on houseboat, Srinagar.

    Day 4

    Srinagar, Gulmarg

    Drive to Gulmarg (50 km, approximately 1.5 hours), nestled in the Pir Panjal range. Known as the Meadow of Flowers, Gulmarg offers stunning meadows, snow-capped peaks, and the Gulmarg Gondola with breathtaking views. Enjoy the lush landscapes, golf courses, and walking trails, perfect for adventure or relaxation. Overnight in Gulmarg.

    Day 5

    Gulmarg, Gondola Ride

    Enjoy a Gondola ride in Gulmarg, ascending through lush meadows and forests. The first phase takes you to Kongdoori Station with stunning valley views. The second phase (subject to operation) reaches Apharwat Peak, offering panoramic vistas of rugged mountains and snow-covered landscapes. Overnight in Gulmarg.

    Day 6

    Gulmarg, Srinagar

    Drive back to Srinagar. Spend the evening exploring local markets or relaxing at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.

    Srinagar, Delhi

    Transfer to Srinagar airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site with intricate sandstone carvings. Explore the surrounding complex, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar. Overnight in Delhi.

    Delhi, Departure

    Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, with assistance provided for check-in and immigration.
